Immigrant to immigrant, then: don’t be a dick. Don’t be the kind of dick immigrant that closes the door behind you, only after you’ve walked through it. Don’t be the kind of dick immigrant that dehumanizes the immigrants who come after you to prove how “American” you’ve become. Don’t be the kind of dick immigrant who’d deny others the opportunity you were lucky enough to have.
